Today was the big push to get leaflets out, following pretty dismal weather over the weekend.
Between us my team of seven that were out this morming covered 5 of the 9 areas I had mapped out. Six others had braved the weekend weather to cover the other 4 areas. Sterling work.
For me, the best part of the morning was having chance to engage in conversation with some of the residents and listen to their concerns. It was very sad to hear that a disconnect with their elected representatives has been allowed to grow in recent years. I will work tirelessly as an Independent to restore trust and create opportunities for Sutton-on-Sea and its residents
